[Collector's Request] The Last Ally

According to the journal, Sayram's last ally, Stormclaw, should have his shield. As for where Stormclaw may be, I have an idea.

I'd heard there's a very old Griffey in that appears on rare occasion in Minar Forest. I suspect that is Stormclaw.

I'll send you there straight away, but be warned, the last sighting was around 100 years ago. There's no telling if the Griffey yet lives.

You can take that necklace. Take it and spread the story of the forgotten hero Sayram and my teacher.

(Accept to move to the next quest location.)

That's... Aurelia's necklace.

There's no need to explain, from a simple glance, it's obvious that you are worthy.

So much so that for a moment, my old eyes had thought that Sayram had somehow returned...

I have waited for many years for your arrival. Sayram said that when someone appears with a Warrior's spirit like his, I should give them his legacy.

And so, I give unto you Sayram's Shield. A relic containing Aurelia's finest magic, Sayram's indomitable will, and my Griffey spirit.

People like Sayram, his allies, and many other forgotten heroes endured unthinkable sacrifices in the belief that their efforts would inspire hope. Follow in their example and be Maple World's hope.

Now then, I can finally join them.

You can go. I'm... very sleepy...
