Edelstein Dispatch Report

You're looking kind of worn out. Do you think you can handle bringing the report back to Ereve?

(Report back to Neinheart.)

So you weren't popular with the citizens of Edelstein, boo hoo. Get used to it. People aren't always going to like you. I'm certainly on the fence.

You really know how to dish out the comfort, you know that, Neinheart?

(He smiles faintly.)

Part of a knight's job is to learn how to deal with animosity, especially when it's justified.

Wait, does that mean we were responsible for what happened to Edelstein? I heard the incident was unavoidable!

That doesn't matter. To the Resistance, it was our fault. And until they forgive us, we will bear that responsibility gracefully. Remember, a flower will never bloom if you're afraid to get mud on your boots.

That's, um, quite philosophical.

Mihile and I have talked philosophy long into many a night! Hawkeye calls it hogwash, in his usual polite manner, of course... But yes, I do have my philosophical moments.

Our Empress still cannot fully control the powers she has from Shinsoo. That means, your power is also unstable, since Cygnus Knights are fueled by her blessings. Our enemies grow strong, and their experiment troubles me.

Our fight with the Black Wings has only just begun. Darkness is falling. We must be prepared.

If we can make amends with the Resistance as well, so much the better.

[Name], you have the most stunned expression on your face. Your mission was a success! Celebrate while you can! The future may not be so easy.

[Name], continue to grow. The Empress is counting on you.

Let me know when you are ready to conclude your report.
