[Magatia's Secret] The Black Mage's Pentacle

Yes, Magatia is a town built right above the lab of the Black Mage. That's the truth, yet most residents of Magatia aren't even aware of it...

Can you explain a little bit more on it?

Yes I will... but before that, I want to clarify something first. As written on the note, did Dr. De Lang wind up conducting the experiment?

Yes, he did.

...*sigh* In that case, I have no choice but to give you some of the burden in regards to this event. The experiments conducted by Dr. De Lang were too risky and reckless, to say the least. He may have believed in the power of the Black Mage, but... the pentacle he made was made hundreds of years ago. It's probably already weakened considerably since then.

That means...

If Dr. De Lang's experiment is the cause for the epic explosion, then I am sure the Black Mage's Magic Pentagram is destroyed as well. The fact that the Magic Pentagram served as the foundation of Magatia, and if that's destroyed... you get the picture. I suspect that after Dr. De Lang's failure, Magatia itself might have been negatively affected. Isn't that so?

I heard that was the case.

...I knew it. In that case... I may need to give you more responsibilities on this matter. Can you do something important for the town of Magatia? The town that is polluted with lies and deceit?

Good. I want you to take these magic stones with you. These are the three magic stones that have been extracted from the pentacle made by the Black Mage. I want you to place them in the pentacle.

With this much power... those three should be enough to stabilize Black Mage's pentacle.

You'll need to activate the top Magic Pentagram, left Magic Pentagram, and the right Magic Pentagram in that order, followed by applying pressure on the center of the Magic Pentagram. This should aid the Magic Pentagram in stabilizing its power, which means you are holding the key to the future of Magatia! Good luck...

Even if you reject the offer, there's no turning back. Magatia...may not even be worth that.

You managed to activate Black Mage's Magic Pentagram. Thank you so much for your help. I believe that with your great deed, Magatia will finally be back in peace. That said...

Hmm...I don't know. I've spent hundreds of years living here, but I still can't make the decision on what to do with Magatia...
