What brings you all the way here? I haven't seen a human being in ages. You're much better company than those rascals pulling my Clocktower apart. You have the look of an adventurer... Can you clean out those pests for me?

I can't believe you said yes! Well, here are the details. There have been monsters contaminated with the dark force that seems to emanate here, and one of the worst seems to be Tick, but I can't do a thing about it.

They use their small bodies to penetrate their way into the huge clock and cause all kinds of troubles this way. The clock is vulnerable in multiple spots to begin with, and they tend to attack in bunches, so the workers have a hard time fixing it. That's why...

Come back when you eliminate 80 of those infuriating Tick critters. You can recognize a Tick by the clock on its back. Horrid little things, they are.

You got the Mana Elixir Pill, right? All of them? Good, good. I haven't seen a single Tick in awhile, so you've definitely done some good. Unfortunately, that's not the only problem we're facing.
