Council President's Order 1

No, no, no...this is no good! Maybe if I move some funds out of the schools... Oh, who goes there? What? Quiet, I'm trying to balance Edelstein's budget! Do you have any idea how much it costs to run a city?

I'd hike up taxes, but if I did that those Resistance ruffians would start a ruckus. What to do, what to do... Hmm... Hey, why don't you help? Think of it as your civic duty!

Of course! You're a good citizen, aren't you? If you can bring me 10 Amethyst Ores, that should help fill the city coffers! Think of the children!

You do know where to get Amethyst from, of course? Just mine for them using your Mining skill. Don't give me that look! If you aren't a Miner, just buy them from one!

Don't pin this budget shortage on me! I may be council president, but that doesn't make me responsible!

Oh, this is pure Amethyst! Fantastic! You truly are a model citizen! Pwahaha! Huh? Of course I won't reward you. Civil service is its own reward! PWAHAHA!

Hmm. Good job.

No, I asked for 10 Amethyst Ores. Just mine for them using your Mining skill. Don't give me that look! If you aren't a Miner, just buy them from one!
