I apologize. I get very emotional when I talk about about Hilla...

Hilla's reign of terror can not go on any longer. If we all join forces, we may be able to stop her!

The method is... rather crude. We need to free the souls of the people trapped here. That means destroying the undead bodies they are now trapped in. It will not be a permanent solution, though, since Hilla's power will just draw them back in.

My role as a shamaness will be to herd the souls to safety before she is able to recapture them. With luck, we may be able to save a good deal of them in time.

I would not burden a stranger with such a huge undertaking without pay. The people of Azwan may be mere ghosts now, but we still have our pride... and our possessions.

I assume you heard everything from Medina. I hope she didn't send you on a goose-chase for treasure. Let me tell you first, the people of Azwan considered mental training far more important than physical possessions. As such, we discovered a power called Inner Ability.

Fighting this battle will put you on the path to discovering your Inner Ability. The people of Azwan knew that honor brings strength.

We also prized a currency other than mesos. The coins you'll see are called Conqueror's Coins and Emperor's Coins. These coins are used exclusively in Azwan. They'll be worth your while, if you keep it.

As you distinguish yourself across numerous battles, you may also come across items of great value from the Azwan royal family, or even a device we call a Circulator.

The Circulator will help you ensure that you unlock the Inner Ability that is most important to you. In other words, it allows perfect control over your abilities, so that you can receive the ones you want. Doesn't this object entice you?

This is all the strength that Azwan possesses. But ghosts have no need for treasures of the past. I will gladly give them to you, if you save our people.
