[Henesys Ruins] The Fall of Cygnus

Empress Cygnus was young, but already a great person. She was always concerned with the safety of Maple World, and she worked night and day to counter the Black Mage.

That's why she started searching for the World Tree. She believed finding it was the key to defeating the Black Mage once and for all.

Empress Cygnus and the Chief Knights searched night and day, and they eventually found it. But it was a trap all along, set by the Black Mage.

He corrupted Cygnus and her Knights. Without the Empress's divine power, Ereve fell to the earth. Then she and the Knights lay siege to Maple World.

And the result is what you see before you. The town fell into ruins. We barely hear anything from the outside world now. ...You look like you don't believe me.

I assure you, everything I told you is true. Take some time and sit with it, if you need to.

I understand it's hard to believe.

You look as if you don't believe it, but it's all true.
