Luden's Warning 3

There are many ways a warrior like yourself can become stronger, but some of them may not be known to you!

Really? I'm pretty sure I got this all figured out...

You believe so, do you? Then you must do something to prove that you still have room to learn. What do you say?

You are wise to proceed. First, obtain at least 1 Advanced Potential Scroll or Potential Scroll from Ani's Box. You will have to face Prison Guard Ani to get one.

Talk to me again when you're prepared. You must be strong enough to face our king!

Ah, so you've found a Potential Scroll already! How fortunate! It has a rather interesting power that lesser scrolls lack.

First, you can only use Potential Scrolls on items of normal rank. When used, a randomly selected rank and hidden potential will be added to your equipment, giving you a significant boost in performance.

Once an equipment has been blessed by a Potential Scroll, you will not be able to use another. If your luck is good, you will get the configuration you desire. There is a box of some sort that can reset these potentials, but I have no knowledge of it.

I have shared all the knowledge I can of the Potential Scroll. I hope its power will be enough to aid you in stopping our fallen king.

You have yet to find a Advanced Potential Scroll or Potential Scroll in Ani's Box. No rush. You'll get one eventually...
