Mysterious Invitation

[Nombre]! You've reached Lv. 10! Marvelous. Allow me to reward you for doing such a great job.

(There is a twinkle in the Headmaster's eye.)

It's something I know you've wanted for a while...

Open the Use tab of your inventory and use the invitation I just gave you. Do so right away. You won't regret it.

You don't even want to know what the reward is? Are you sure? It's something I know you've been wanting...

Welcome, [Nombre]! Surprised to see me? Well, don't be. We've all been waiting for you... Look around. You'll see a lot of faces you recognize.

Yes, we're all part of the Edelstein Resistance. We live normal lives in town and we pretend to be subservient and meek, but we're actually preparing to fight. The Headmaster is our training instructor.

Now, I don't think anyone has explained to you who our enemies are, though I'm sure you've seen them around. They wear black clothes, and they're called the Black Wings. They've come to Edelstein to steal our resources... and our freedom.

We pretend to obey the Black Wings. Things are safer that way. But here, in secret, some citizens of Edelstein are preparing to fight them. We protect young residents like you by keeping you in the dark.

But we never planned to keep it a secret from you forever. So since you've found out about the Black Wings anyway, we'd like to invite you to join the Resistance.

But take heed. Once you join the Resistance, you will encounter endless challenges and danger. You will struggle. You could give it your all and sacrifice everything for Edelstein, and in the end...we may fail. We may not be able to defeat the Black Wings.

But the people you see here, we've chosen this path because we believe it is the right thing to do. Freedom and peace are worth fighting for, even if we end up losing. That is what it means to be part of the Resistance.

So, [Nombre]...

Will you join us in this dangerous venture?

I knew you wouldn't be able to resist this opportunity. Good, next you must choose your path. Think about your strengths and personality before you make a decision.

Talk to each job instructor and listen carefully to their job descriptions before you choose your path. Once you do, your new job instructor will advance you as an official member of the Resistance. Think of your job instructor as an extracurricular teacher.

Come see me after you advance as an official member of the Resistance. I will then explain to you the required training and missions you will receive.
