The Continental Conference

I'm sorry. I'll try to pull myself together. I consider myself blessed to have such a worthy knight as you by my side, [Nombre].

The Cygnus Knights have always tried to fight off the shadow of the Black Mage without seeking the help of others. After all, I believed that we had to be stand by our own power.

But now I realize that we can't stop the Black Mage on our own. I am weak, and I see now that the world won't always be able to rely on us. We need help.

This won't be easy. There are plenty of people who will be against us. Few will trust us, and many will refuse to help. However, I see no other way. Please tell Neinheart that I've made my decision.

We will hold a continental conference. Its purpose: To form an Alliance to unite Maple World.

The Empress has made her decision? She was worried that the idea of an alliance might make us some enemies...

The Black Mage won't be easy to defeat. It is only by standing together that Maple World has a chance of survival.

The Empress's decision is to step down from the comforts of Ereve and onto the battlefield to fight.

There are many preparations to be made. I trust that you will assist me.

I can't say if this is the right decision, but this is no time to second guess ourselves. We must simply try to do what is right.
