The Wanderer's Identity

Let me introduce myself first. I am Andy. Please understand that everything I'm about to tell you is the absolute truth, so try not to be too surprised.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but after all the crazy things I've seen, you'd have to try REALLY hard to surprise me.

I see. Well then... I am from the future.

...Wait, what?

Huh. Surprising you was actually pretty easy. Anyway, something terrible has happened, and I'm sure you'll want to help me sort things out. Are you ready to hear the story?

I knew you would be interested, but you're still going to need some time to gather your thoughts. I also need some time to think.

I understand hearing something like this out of the blue might be too much. Come back when you're ready.

It seems like you're ready. Okay, so as I mentioned earlier, I'm from the future. To be more precise, I'm from an alternate future.

An alternate future?

Yes. I shouldn't even be here, actually. I was aiming for Neo City in the year 1900. However, something went wrong...

'Something'? How bad is 'something'?

Very bad. My time travelling device broke, and sent me to many different time periods, until finally leaving me here.

That doesn't seem like a huge deal...

Unfortunately, time is very sensitive. By travelling to other time periods, I've permanently changed the future in ways I cannot control. I...may have made things far worse than they already were.

Then...you telling me this stuff is also a problem, right?

Yes, but in the grand scheme of things, it hardly matters. You've already travelled through time, so our impact on each other is lessened.

That is why I have a favor to ask of you. Come find me when you're ready to listen.
