Untrusting Heart

[Name], I've an important mission for you. The Dual Blades, led by Lady Syl, have recently joined the Alliance. The Explorers welcomed them with open arms, but I have my doubts...

I don't accuse them of allying with the Black Mage, of course, but I can't help but think they have some sort of ulterior motive. Please, travel to the Secret Garden as an ambassador of Cygnus and uncover their true intentions.

Welcome, ambassador of Cygnus. What brings you to the Secret Garden?

I bring greetings from Neinheart...

Speak truthfully. Neinheart doesn't trust us, correct?

...Right. The Explorers may trust you, but we Cygnus Knights have some doubts about your true intention...

Our true intention? It's no secret that the Dual Blades seek to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that no one can stand against our might. Is that so wrong? You speak as if you are fighting a holy war to bring justice to this world, but isn't it an ulterior motive to push your own brand of justice? You have your goals, and we have ours. That is all.

They say there's a secret entrance to the Secret Garden in Kerning City. Keep an eye out for a suspicious person standing guard.

You refuse to carry out your duty as a Cygnus Knight?
