[Alliance] Their Purpose

I've read the diary. Gelimer is trying to make some sort of a superhuman! I'm not totally sure what his purposes are, but it looks like he's using magic to make these people stronger. There's a passage from the Diary that I think you should hear:

Upon completion of the experiment, the subject appeared to be successful. Visually, it appeared to be an exact replica of The One. I named it Vita, thinking it would be my greatest achievement. However, after multiple tests, I am now certain the experiment was a failure. It exhibits no extraordinary capabilities. It is, in fact, a quite ordinary human female. The subject will be purged during the next clean cycle. I must go back to formula.'

As awful as this is, I'm sure he's not operating on his own. Somebody must be feeding him orders. What I find more troublesome is his reference to 'The One'. What could that mean?

I'm afraid we're missing too much with just this diary. If you can get me the Part B of the Research Diary, I might be able to figure out what he's really up to. Please, for the good of the Resistance...

The founder of the Black Wings?! This is huge! We finally know who we're fighting AND we know she's one of the Black Mage's Commanders!

To tell you the truth, the Resistance had no intention of fighting the Black Mage when we first formed. It was enough to deal with the Black Wings. But now we know they're one and the same. We couldn't have done it without your help.
