Chaos, Destruction, and the Black Mage

The sky went dark as a shadow fell upon the island. A red eye bored down upon us, and the next thing I knew, Maple Island was in ruins.

That's awful! Why would the Black Mage attack here, of all places?

I don't know, but I do know this: If he had wanted to, the Black Mage could've utterly destroyed Maple Island. The fact that he didn't makes me suspect has he an ulterior agenda...

Who's Sugar? Do you mean that girl who fled toward Maple Tree Hill while the rest of the town was busy putting out fires? I suppose someone ought to go check on her...

I would hate for the girl to suffer if the fire that she didn't help put out spread to the forest...
