The exam is simple. Head to the Second Drill Hall at the end of the Training Forest and defeat 30 Tiguru of Exam monsters.
I will bestow knighthood upon you when your task is complete.
(If you accept, you'll travel to Entrance to the Drill Hall automatically.)
