Joining the Resistance

Any suspicions we had about your loyalties are gone. You've saved Resistance Headquarters, and for that, you have earned our trust.

I do not care about your trust or suspicions, but I have a name, and you should use it. I am [Nom].

Ah, my apologies, [Nom]. Now, have you considered joining forces with us, to battle the Black Mage?

(Allies, eh? I hadn't thought about that...)

According to Ferdi, your training went quite well. But, with respect, [Nom], you're only one...person? Demon? Whatever. The Black Mage has powerful followers in the Black Wings, and together, I think we can take them down.

(I'll ignore that crack about my identity...for now. As for the Black Wings...)

If you truly want to fight the Black Mage alone, I won't stop you. But together, we can be far more powerful.

(I want my revenge on the Black Mage...but these Black Wings ARE going to get in my way. Perhaps the Resistance can be useful to me after all.)

What do you say?

Excellent! Then, welcome to the Resistance! The Black Wings don't stand a chance.

Oh, Elex told me that he prepared something for you. You should see what it is. Elex is in Secret Plaza.

That is quite unfortunate. By joining forces, we could do a lot more damage to our enemies...

Hey! I heard you've joined the Resistance. Good choice! I have some leftover items you can have. Interested?

Am I interested in second-hand junk? No.

Oh, don't be such a snob. Try 'em out!

Check your inventory.

Elex is right here, in Secret Plaza.
