[Kritias] Invasion Investigation

My father's disappearance isn't the only mystery. Why did the Black Mage invade Kritias? Why is the castle floating in the sky?

He must be after something unique to Kritias.

He's making an example out of you.

Kritias has always been known for its magic. Students would travel from all over to study at the Ranheim Academy. Was he after our magic...?

What kind of magic is it?

Magic isn't exactly my area of expertise. Hirrel will know more about Kritias's history and Beatrice can tell you about magic.

I suggest you begin with Hirrel. He may know what the Black Mage is after.

Hirrel is near the town hall. I think he can answer any questions you have about Kritias.

I'm sorry, but that's all I know.

Maybe, but Kritias was never a major threat to the Black Mage. Why didn't he target a more active kingdom like Ereve instead?

[Nom]. I've been looking for you.

What a pleasant surprise. I was just looking for you. Welcome!

Hirrel is waiting near the town hall. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to my... serving boy duties.
