Mai's Request

Maple Island is a land for beginning adventurers. Monsters are relatively weak here, but you need some experience to become a skilled adventurer. When you are a beginner, you have to try your best to train hard.

You look very strong. Why are you on Maple Island?

Because I'm a trainer. Mr. Lucas hired me. I quit adventuring in Victoria Island to protect the people in this town instead. Besides that, beginners always need a bit of guidance. But I've got far too much work these days...If you have a chance to go to Entrance to Adventurer Training Center, can you give a message to Mr. Lucas?

Hmm... Who are you? Did Mai send you here? Why?

Mai asked you for a raise.

Because there are many beginners in Maple Island, it's hard for Mai to work by herself.

Mai said she wanted to compete with Lucas.

Hmm... Did Mai say that? Would you tell Olaf in Lith Harbor what she said? You won't be here much longer so you can deliver the message when you get to Victoria Island. Thank you.

Ah, thank you. There are a lot of travelers in Maple Island and even more monsters. It's hard for me to protect people by myself. So please tell Lucas of Entrance to Adventurer Training Center to hire one more person. Thank you.

Thank you. Ah, don't worry about the fare. You have to go to Southperry to go to Victoria Island. Southperry knows who Vasily is. I'll tell him to take you for free.

Hmm... Aren't you planning to go to Entrance to Adventurer Training Center? You can go to Southperry directly.

Mai asked for a raise? I don't believe it. Are you lying?

Compete...? Did Mai say that? I know there's no strong men in Maple Island, but it's nonsense to ask this old man like me to compete.

Haven't you met Lucas yet? I'll take a walk in front of the store of Entrance to Adventurer Training Center. Go ahead.
