Will of the Alliance

So, you're the Dual Blades' ambassador, eh? The Dark Lord told me to expect you. I can tell you're eager to hear my final judgment.

The Maple Alliance has decided to welcome the Dual Blades. We accept your conditions, as well. Of course, we don't know how long this war will last. We may never win, in which case the Dual Blades will receive no new land. Please deliver our answer to Lady Syl.

Also...Lady Syl will want to know about this. The Cygnus Knights voted against your joining the Alliance. Still, they accepted my final decision when I explained how useful you will be in the war. They're a cautious group by nature. It will take some time for both sides to reach an understanding, I suspect.

Of course, the great Lady Syl has no need for messengers. She'll just have to guess as to my answer.

I've been waiting for you, [Nom]. Well?

The Maple Alliance welcomed us with open arms, conditions and all.

Well done. I was right to send you.

However...the Cygnus Knights aren't too happy about it. What should we do about them?

It's nothing unexpected. Once they realize our superiority, they'll see things our way. It's a nuisance, nothing more.

Thank you for your hard work. You are dismissed.
