Bedin's Visitor

W-What do you want? You know this place isn't open to the public, right?

Carson gave his permission.

I-I see. What brings you here?

I want to know more about the strange person who asked you about creating life with alchemy.

That was... I don't really remember, you know? It's been a few months. Maybe if you help me get a good Scorpion Sting shipment?

Did you bring the Scorpion Stings? They're helping me remember...

Can you describe the strange person that came to you?

No, I still don't remember anybody strange. The only person who came to see me was an ordinary little girl.

That's it? A little girl? Nobody else has been down here?

Not too many people come by for alchemy lessons. Given the secretive nature of the science, we usually keep it under wraps, but this girl's circumstances made it different...

What do you mean by that?

Well, she said she was trying to save her brother's life.

She wanted to know about magic that could hide things... I mean, I don't know how they're related, but how could I turn a sad girl down?

Her brother's life? You don't have any other details?

I know it's forbidden to teach alchemy to ordinary citizens, but I couldn't just ignore her plea. I only gave her a hint though.

What kind?

I told her about a medicine that reveals hidden truths... Only, it'd take ME 100 years to make it. That's why I sent her over to Russellon in the Alcadno institute.

Can you bring 50 Scorpion Sting samples? I'll try to remember while you do that. The Scorpion that wander around Sahel 3 should carry them.

Russellon is an Alcadno alchemist. He should be in Lab - Central Hub. Those Alcadno guys are creepy... especially him.

I happened to need a lot of Scorpion Sting samples for my experiment. I won't be able to concentrate if the experiments are hanging over my head, will I?

Did you bring 50 Scorpion Sting samples? I don't think my memories will return otherwise. Remember, the Scorpion monsters on Sahel 3 should have them.
