Black Wings' New Weapon

Ah, much better. I'm ready to explain now. Initially, my goal was just to interrupt the development of the weapon, but when I got there, the weapon was already done. It was a Poison Gas Generator that looked extremely dangerous.

It hadn't been fully tested, but I wanted to stop it from being delivered, so I tried to destroy it...alone. And, well, I failed. The poison gas was potent. And that's how I ended up caged, as you saw.

We can get out of here easily with the Hideout Return Scroll you have, but we can't in good conscience leave. The poison gas in that device could wipe out all of Edelstein in an instant! We HAVE to destroy that weapon before we leave.

Honestly, I don't know if you'll be able to pull it off. I'm not sure if a human can endure the powerful poison gas, but you and I are the only ones here, so I guess I have to trust you. Besides, I think you've got what it takes. I hope.

The new weapon is on the other side of that door. They might want to test the weapon on us... You must destroy it before the weapon kills us!

Poison is dangerous because it can target a large population at once. The Black Wings can point that thing toward Edelstein at their whim. Please, think it over!

Have you not destroyed the Poison Gas Generator yet? It's extremely powerful, so thoroughly prepare yourself. Grrr, I should have brought more antidotes and potions!
