Hail, Mercedes! I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but I'd like a moment of your time. It's about the child you took out of the village the other day... Did the child wake up from the curse?

What child? I didn't take anyone from the village!

Excuse me? Are you sure you didn't take a child from Elluel? You said you wanted to try to remove the curse... Of course, I'm sure you know what you're doing. I just wanted to make sure the kid was okay...

I promise you, I did no such things! ...The Black Wings must be behind this.

The Black Wings? No, I'm sure it was you...wasn't it? Hold on. One of the Black Wings is a famous Master of Disguise. I can't believe I didn't see through their trick... Please, Mercedes, return to the village immediately!

I was tricked. I'm sorry, Mercedes... I failed my duty to protect the village.

Save your apology for the child. I'm going to get him back!

...As you wish!
