Explorer's Envoy

Welcome. [Name], we've much to discuss. I'm sure you're aware that the Explorers of Victoria Island have begun to gather their strength to fight the Black Mage. However, we must face the fact that we have no hope of winning on our own.

The chiefs of Victoria understand this all too well. That is why we are trying to convince the Resistance to join our alliance. Unfortunately, their past...encounters with Cygnus make them hesitant to trust us. I was hoping you might go see them. Go to Edelstein and convince them to join us no matter what it takes.

Do you accept this mission?

I was warned you were coming. It's impressive you were able to make it this far...but that is not enough to earn my trust. Who are you, really?

My name is [Name]. I'm here on behalf of Kyrin...no, the Maple Alliance.

Kyrin... Isn't she one of the chiefs of Victoria Island? The ones who joined forces with that traitor Cygnus? I've heard enough. We've learned the hard way that we can't place our trust in anyone but ourselves.

Wait! Please hear me out...!

Leave this town. My mind is made up.

They say the leaders of the Resistance disguise themselves as normal citizens of Edelstein during the day. You will have to find their secret plaza without attracting the attention of the Black Wings and find Claudine. Tell her the challenges we face. Only by working together can we defeat the Black Mage.

We'll not repeat this old song and dance. At the end of the day, you're no better than Cygnus.

We must all do our part if we hope to survive. If you don't plan to help...I suppose that running away is always an option.

Go to the Resistance Secret Plaza in Edelstein and meet with Claudine. Please offer a place for the Resistance in our Maple Alliance.
