Friend of the Monarch

You look great, Mercedes. I guess getting frozen by the Black Mage was good for your complexion...

You look tired, Sylvidia. Are you okay? Were you hurt?

No, no, I'm fine. It's just, Maple World has changed so much, and it's not really a good place for Unicorns anymore... I've just been getting by, since you Elves were all frozen and stuff...

(Sylvidia seems very hungry. You should get her some food from the General Store. She used to love Elven cooking...)

This is... I haven't had this in ages! I missed this so much! We used to have so much fun, didn't we? But then you went off to fight the Black Mage, and left me all alone...

I promised you I'd return...

Yes, so I stayed in Maple World and waited for you and the Elves to come back. I knew you would, that someday we would gallop through the Victoria Island again.

Not yet. I can't rest until the Black Mage is gone for good. Please wait a little longer, Sylvidia.

No! I don't want to wait anymore, Mercedes!

I promised myself I'd never let you go away again! You don't know how many times I circled the village, looking for a way to get in, waiting for you to come back.

I should've gone with you to fight the Black Mage in the first place.

I don't care if you're gonna fight the Black Mage again. You aren't getting rid of me! I'll go with you, no matter what!

(The General Store sells Unicorn Food. There used to be lots of Unicorns in the village, after all.)
