[Silent Crusade] The Flying Whale

Now, you're probably wondering how I can tell that you're suited for this, right?

Sure, I guess I'm curious.

Krag once asked me the very same thing, and I'll tell you what I told him: I just get a hunch about these things.

Wait, does that mean you were once part of the Silent Crusade?

Sure was. Just think of me as part of an older generation of Silent Crusaders. I was a part of the group back when Krag was younger than Crow. Not to brag, but people used to call me an legend...

I don't know whether you're just showing off or if you're serious.

The important thing here is whether you're going to accept the job. So, you in?

Excellent! Investigate the Mystic Gate that appeared in Memory Lane 5 and defeat the Dodo inside. I'll fill you in on the rest of the job when you return.

The Silent Crusade since my heyday has become such a disgrace.

I knew you could do the job. Nice work. Now, you ready to hear what's next?

Oh great, is there more?

Just listen. Ever since the goddess Rhinne was sealed, time has been distorted. Strange monsters have started to appear in the Temple of Time. You just defeated one of the three most powerful amongst them.

Ugh, don't tell me I need to fight the other two now...

Well, aren't you a clever one? That's exactly what you need to do! Powerful monsters tend to hid inside the Mystic Gates, and the three new gates we found are all in the areas where the most powerful monsters reside.

All right, it's time to tackle the next gate. Let me know when you're ready.

If this job were easy, they wouldn't have called ME in. You're going to have to try harder.
