[Spring Heatwave] Blazing Attendance Check

You'd better salute when speaking to a superior officer, soldier! My name is Solaran, company commander of the Sun Corps.

Will you join me in serving the mighty, vengeful Sun God, or be baked into a gooey bone-filled puddle by his glorious rays?

Well, I think I'd prefer... Wait, what?

What are you talking about?

The Sun God, obviously! Proof of his wrath is all around us: the melting ice caps, the floods, the early Spring heatwaves... How else could you rationally explain these terrible miracles?

If we don't appease him, he will smite us all! But his followers, they will be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams!

Rewards? Well... I like the sound of that part.

I think if each one of us defeats 2,000 Monsters Near Your Level, that will surely quench the god's bloodthirst! Then we can all go back to living in a normal, sensible world where it's cold in the winter and warm in the summer.

Hop to it, soldier. Monsters Near Your Level are enemies between 10 levels below and 20 levels above you. Of course, if your level is above 150, all monsters Lv. 150 or higher will be considered Monsters Near Your Level. Much more convenient that way.

Hmph! Weaklings like you will be the first incinerated by the fiery one's terrible rays!

All right knuckledragger, listen up! In war, whether your opponent is a conventional enemy or mother nature itself, there is no room for mistakes!

Each day before you deliver your bloody tribute to the Sun God, navigate to the Attendance Log through the star-shaped notifier on the left of the screen, and press the <Challenge> button. If you don't, his flamey-ness will not see your handiwork, and you'll have to start all over! Got it?

ARE YOU DEAF, SOLDIER?! That's the <Challenge> button in the Attendance Log! Memorize it!

May our sizzling master have mercy on our souls... DISMISSED!
