Stained Soul

I am honestly impressed by your accomplishment. Arkarium was a fearsome adversary. I hope you'll understand that your work is not done. Are you ready for your next mission?

Did you bring the Stained Soul?

Arkarium's corruption lingers in the area. Return to the Dimensional Schism and bring me a Stained Soul.

The only way to obtain one of these souls is by defeating Arkarium. Withhold your outrage, Arkarium exists outside of time now. He will still be there when you return.

The corruption of this soul bears some investigation. Perhaps it will be the key to undoing the Black Mage, though I doubt it would be so easy. Regardless, I will teach you a skill in return. I call it, Noble Mind.

You may bring me up to six more Stained Souls, though my research will take a day to complete for each one. I will continue to advance your Noble Mind skill further with each soul you bring.

Do you have other things to take care first?

Not yet? Please try harder. Just one Stained Soul is all I need.
