A Strange Development

Just a few minutes ago, while flying over the ocean, I saw this weird creature around the area. It was the size of a town! Its body looked like blackened, solid steel, yet it was able to move on top of the water and underneath it with equal prowess.

It really felt threatening, so I decided to chase this thing from behind, and wouldn't you know it, it was heading towards Victoria Island! Wait a minute... is this... a new monster getting ready to attack ヘネシス? This is really troubling.

If it's okay with you, can you head over to Victoria Island and find out what that creature really is?

Ahhh, thank you so much. That creature is located next to a town called ヘネシス, at #100030000. I don't know what it's thinking, but it's just standing still for now. Please go check and see if it really is a danger to Victoria Island!

I know it's dangerous, but I think it's something that needs to be clarified. I hope you change your mind!

Hey, who's that? I, バト, will protect カイリン and The Nautilus! Remember the name, the hero of the pirates, バト! Hahahahaha! Wait, this is not it. What are you trying to do there? Whatever you are trying to do, it won't fool me! Not バト!

Eh? What? You're just here to investigate because you've never seen us before? Why didn't you just say that from the get go? We're not aliens or anything like that! We're just Pirates. Fearsome, fight-to-the-last-man, potion-loving Pirates! Don't tell me you are thinking of Lord Pirate and those despicable bandits. They suck! We serve a cause much more true to the spirit of Victoria Island!

We ride around on our ship, The Nautilus, under the guidance of our captain, Kyrin, roaming around the coasts of Maple World, looking for the Black Mage. We use Knucklers and Guns to make sure that the root of all evil is vanquished--we want to make sure that the Black Mage never rises to the heights of power as he did before.

Just like the wisemen in Victoria Island training for the day the Black Mage returns, カイリン is busy making sure that his followers stay in low numbers. She's so young, too. That's just so admirable!

So no more suspicious looks! We're not here to fight you! I swear on カイリン's name!

We're not done with the fort's construction just yet, so I can't show you what's going on, but we'll be finished soon, so have no fear. If you want to join us and カイリン and become a mighty Gunslinger or Brawler, come back later. By then, we'll be ready to accept you with open arms, and train you to live the life of a Pirate!

You haven't gone to #100030000 yet? What if it turns out to be a deadly new monster terrorizing Victoria Island? Please go check so we can prepare for this threat!
