Deal a certain amount of damage to the Black Mage or his henchmen to weaken him.

* The special mission can be performed separately from the Alliance mission. You'll obtain 5,000 determination upon completion of the special mission, and it can be completed up to 3 times a day.

* You can participate in the battle with the Black Mage in the giant's heart. Total damage dealt to the Black Mage is calculated when you exit the battle map.
