[Black Wings] Can We Really Do This?

I've been trying to ignore it but... ゲリーメル's research is becoming more and more dangerous. So many raccoons have been and are continuing to be sacrificed for the sake of 'research'... Even creatures that shouldn't be used are being experimented on.

ゲリーメル has created a new laboratory at the end of the Raccoon Shaft. Something is definitely going on in there. He has even prohibited me from entering... I need to find out what creatures are in there. Will you help me?

Great, please go look inside the laboratory. It's probably locked, so you won't be able to enter. Just peek inside.

Really? I understand. I'm sorry for asking. I seem to rely on others too much.

So, what kind of creatures were there in the laboratory?

A red-skinned creature with a raccoon on its back.

A green-skinned creature with a rabbit on its back.

A brown-skinned creature with a human on its back.

Oh no! That's a 鉱石イーター. How big was it?

About the same size as a Hogul.

About the same size as a Jr. Necki.

About the same size as a White Tiger.

That means it's still a baby... Is he using baby animals in his experiments too? And a 鉱石イーター at that? Geez... ゲリーメル really must be a 'mad' scientist...

Oh I'm sorry. I'm a bit upset at the fact that he is experimenting on an 鉱石イーター... 鉱石イーター enemies are very rare mine dwellers. They are highly intelligent and can understand people fairly well. They've always been highly regarded by the people of Edelstein.

鉱石イーターs are creatures that consume boulders and form Rue in their bodies. They die when people try to tame or harvest them for their Rue. Despite all our advances in science, they're mysterious creatures that people don't know much about.

How could such a precious creature be used as a scientist experiment? We can't let that happen! What can we do? Ah, why must I be so weak!

Really? I don't think there's an animal like that in the mines. Are you sure? Go take another look.

That's a fully grown Ore Muncher, then! What's it doing there?

Ore Muncher's aren't that size. Could it be a different creature?

Have you not gone to the laboratory at the end of the raccoon shaft? I'm sure you can do it.
