Fox's Threat

Hmm... hmm... Huh? People don't usually come this far. Have you lost your axe? What? Have I had my clothes ripped off? How did you know? Actually, I was attacked by Samihoes just a few days back.

A powerful monster has come to Black Mountain not long ago. There's also a fox that's been training for some time. It's become a nine-tailed fox, also known as an Old Fox. Other Samihoes were influenced by the Old Fox and came to steal my clothes. I'm embarrassed.

Old foxes are dreadful monsters that can steal away people's souls. We must get rid of it before it's too late. What? Someone already lost their soul? Oh my... I would like to defeat the Old Fox myself, but my powers aren't enough. What should we do...?

The Goblins of the Black Mountain may know how to defeat the Old Fox. How about it? Someone like you should go get the information from the Goblins. Of course, those goblins are unusual creatures, and won't just give up their information easily.

Hmm, very well then. Please go to the Dokebi House near the Haunted House and persuade those Goblins to tell you how to save a someone whose soul was stolen by an Old Fox. Meanwhile, I'll go see my master and ask whether he knows any good spells to use on the Old Fox.

Indeed... I understand. Goblins don't like humans and are the real owner of the Black Mountain, so even I can't get close to them. I can't blame you if you're scared.

Hmm... guess you've heard all about the Old Fox by now. Oh, great! The soul will come back by tickling the nose with this Tail of the Old Fox? This is the greatest news I've heard in days. Then hurry and go to, Chil Sung or Chil Nam, whomever, with the good news!

My master warned that the Old Fox is more cunning than powerful, so you mustn't listen to what they say. Ask Chil Sung to carry the news around the village to be careful of the Old Fox.

Why haven't you gone to the Goblins yet? They are ugly, but they've also lived long enough on Black Mountain to know a lot about it. Hurry and get to the Haunted House first.
