John's Testimony

Are you here to buy a fish? Huh? ある船員の航海日誌...? Well, of course I wrote it! But I've retired long ago... What? You want to know whether what I wrote is true?

Do I look like I need embellish stories to make them interesting? Of course it's all true! Even the bit about the island I where found a sleeping dragon. But why do you ask? You're not trying to get to that island, are you?

Haha, another youngling acting with reckless bravado... I'd urge you to play it safe, but I suppose you must learn that on your own. Alright, I'll give you a map to the island.

Since you're not a crew member, find テオ near the ticketing booth and ask him if you can go to this island. The sea route will be rough, so he may decline your request.

Don't need this map? Smart choice. Don't put yourself in danger for some ridiculous ambition.

That whale there is getting on my nerves. I probably shouldn't catch it though, huh? What are you doing here? Hm? You want to know if you can get to the island on this map? Let me see...

This place...should only be approached by a competent crew member. The waves out there are very choppy. You can easily capsize and hurt yourself. I don't know if even I have the skill to navigate through there...

I thought you were a strong adventurer, but you are indeed a novice. You dropped the map. Here, take it.

That whale there is getting on my nerves. What is it? Don't bother a crew member if you don't have much to say.

Have you gone to see Teo yet? He might be able to help you get to the island on the map.
