Puppeteer Detector

So, my job is to stand here and monitor the Puppeteer Detector, which searches nearby areas for spikes in the puppeteer's energy. Well, I recently noticed that the machine's been beeping like crazy!

I mean, it could've been doing that for weeks, but I hadn't really been paying attention. The machine might be broken, too, but just in case it's not...

Someone had better check it out! I'd go myself, but then who would stay here to listen to the machine beep, right? That leaves you!

The machine detected activity along 南の峰. Maybe you should eliminate some monsters there and see if you can figure out what's going on.

But ローカ said I could count on you! I'm going to slap him the next time he tries to dream-message me!

So the machine actually works... That's cool, I guess. I never thought we'd find droves of monsters so close to town. Do you think the Puppeteer wants to attack us?
