The Empress and the Thief

I'm really going to have to tell Gaston to get a tally on how much all these broken locks and guard-bots are costing me.

Let's see, there should be a journal of all my greatest secret techniques around here... somewhere. This place is a treasure trove of old memories and I was never one for organization...

Maybe that ガーディアン rattled my brain a little bit...

Aria's Portrait... Of course. I remember sending her that letter, saying I was going to steal her precious gem. It was to be my greatest achievement.

She looked like such a pushover back then. I was sure that taking Skaia would be a cinch. She sure did prove me wrong.

Can you believe what I've become, Aria? Just another lost soul talking to an old picture.
