The Master of Disguise

Wow, you're here! ナインハート gave you an outline, right? Then let's cut to the chase. Ereve is an island protected by the Shinsoo, which means no force of evil can enter the island. Even if someone did enter, the person would have been noticed right away.

The problem is, we were unable to spot the intruder this time. That's because the thief is the member of the Black Wings, the 変化師 バロック. We detected an intrusion, but we were unable to spot the fake. So while people were panicking, the thief brazenly breezed through and stole the treasure.

That is the one item that SHOULD NOT be at the hands of Black Mage! Since the 変化師 has yet to leave Ereve, I want you to join in on the search as well. If you meet ナインハート, you'll be able to receive a エレヴ捜索許可証 that requires rummaging through Ereve.

Okay, now I want you to defeat the 変化師 and bring back the treasure! I, as well as other members, will also aid you in the search.

The 変化師 is most likely disguised as one of the Knights. The appearances may change, but the inner self won't, so I suggest you keep talking to various Knights until you hear something that doesn't sound like it would come from a Knight. If you do, you can consider that individual the 変化師 and attack immediately.

Are... are you scared? I can understand the fear that's creeping through you... but running away will not help you accomplish a single thing. Please think about this once more.

Were you able to defeat the 変化師 バロック?? Wow, that is just incredible! You are indeed an incredible Knight!

The Empress is very proud of your work!

Were you not able to find the 変化師 yet? The 変化師 has yet to leave Ereve, so receive the Investigation Permit first from ナインハート, then conduct a search of your own. Sooner or later, you'll find the 変化師. I need you to really eliminate it and bring back the treasure!
