The Master of Disguise

..I am sure .ナインハート gave you a thorough outline, so I will just go straight to the facts. As you know, Ereve is an island protected by the Shinsoo. Any form of darkness is not only forbidden from winning, but even if it does enter, it'd be detected right away and be promptly removed.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to do that this time, and... that's because... we did not acount for who the thief was. The culprit was a member of the Black Wings, the 変化師 バロック... We were unable to locate him even after entering this island, because he was in disguise.

The treasure should NEVER end up in Black Mage's hands. The 変化師 has yet to escape Ereve, so you must participate in this search as well. Go visit ナインハート and receive エレヴ捜索許可証.

Now... Go defeat the 変化師... And bring back the treasure... I, as well as other Knights, will also be conducting the search.

The 変化師 is most likely disguised as one of the Knights. The appearances may change, but the inner self won't, so I suggest you keep talking to various Knights until you hear something that doesn't sound like it would come from a Knight. If you do, you can consider that individual the 変化師 and attack immediately.

Fear? Hesitation? As long as you keep the two with you, you will never be able to move up.

Wow... you were able to defeat the 変化師 バロック... You are a special Knight, indeed.

The Empress observes your accomplishment. Do not forget the fact that you're an important indivual here.

Were you unable to find the 変化師...? I know for sure that he has yet to escape. First, visit ナインハート and receive the Investigation Permit, then conduct a thorough search of the whole Ereve to locate the 変化師, then defeat it to bring 失われた宝物(ウィンドシューター) back...
