The Story Thus Far

You've been a big help, so I suppose I should hear you out. Let us discuss your concerns.

Let me remind you, I still don't fully trust you. I'll only answer questions I feel comfortable answering.

Why do you hesitate? Is this not what you were after?

Now, what are these questions that you seem insistent on asking?

Ask about the commanders present when the Black Mage was sealed.

Ask about the other commanders, besides ヴァンレオン.

Ask about the Black Wings.

End Conversation.

So, you want to know about those dark days. Understand that the battle with the Black Mage happened before I was born, so what I know comes from my mentor. Hopefully, he got all the details straight.

I must ask, why do you have such questions? I would have thought you would know more about this than I... Regardless, if you intend to battle these dark forces, be careful.

I have answered your questions...but I feel like I owe you more for your assistance. And...you remind me of someone I knew...

Here, take this weapon. I found it in Orbis Tower some time ago. With that, we are even, yes? I hate being indebted to people.

I'm surprised at your questions, but I will answer them as best I can. I just know what my master told me, though. Only ヴァンレオン, a commander of the Black Mage, knows the full details of that battle and the Black Mage's current condition. But he has remained hidden for so long...

Unfortunately, I don't know what happened to the other commanders. I assume they remain hidden, building their forces in secret.

I assume that the Black Wings were founded by one of the commanders to aid the Black Mage in his return. They are way too focused and organized to be a random cult.
