Truth of the Rumor

Have you heard the rumors?

What rumors?

There are rumors about the Ghost Tree roaming around Perion.

A Ghost Tree? Could there really be a Ghost Tree?

No way, ghosts don't exist.

I guess so. I don't believe the rumors either. However, I've also heard of something else. There is a legend of a tree that has grown in Perion since the olden days. You must have heard about it, right?

Well... I don't recall...

Well, if the tree in question were actually real, then it'd help my research a lot. That said, I don't have enough evidence. Not many know about this particular tree. The Indians of Perion seem to know something, but they won't answer my questions.

Could they be hiding something?

This is why I need your help. I've heard you're closer to the Perion Indians than I am. Would you please help and collect information about that tree?

I see your curiosity got the better of you. In that case start your journey to ペリオン and find someone who knows about the tree. Anyone must have heard about the tree at least once.

Try talking to 豚と一緒に踊りを, イヤン, マンジ, and コブシを開いて立て. All right! Wouldn't the botanist, Doctor Dr.ベティ in エリニア, know something about the tree?

Where has your thriving curiosity gone? If you thought it was bothersome, then why didn't you say so in the first place? What a waste of time.

Of course there isn't anything like it!

Have you found something? Well, what is it?

I didn't have much luck.

I did hear some interesting stories.

(Told Doctor Winston of what I heard from the Perion residents.)

Hmm... so the rumor must be 'スタンピ'? You've done well.

You may go now, but please don't go too far. I may need to reach you for your help on this rumor.

It can't be. There must be someone who knows about it. Keep asking questions.

I can't stop thinking about the story of the old tree. How did it go with the villagers?
