Eighth Mission: In the Presence

I seem to have neglected my duties for too long. I'm still confused as to what I should believe, but I have been thinking about it much since you left. No, I'm not ready to meet the Dark Lord just yet, but I have been wondering about the future of the Dual Blades.

I've been so focused on the Dark Lord that I've ignored the Dual Blades who have stayed hidden in the shadows. I think it's about time that the Dual Blades received some proper recognition. Please go see Arec at El Nath.

I sense a strange connection. Who are you?

I've come as a representative of the Dual Blades.

Ah yes, the Dual Blades... I have heard about your group. A different type of thieves, a group born out of hate... So, what business do you have with me?

I have come that we might gain your recognition.

Gain my recognition? You stand in direct opposition to the current Dark Lord, the rightful successor. How is it that you expect my recognition?

Everything was based on a misunderstanding. We acknowledge our mistakes and will put an end to that. Instead, we look forward to a new future in a different direction.

A new future...interesting. If that is truly the case, then I will give you a chance.

If we can earn his recognition, a new future will open up for the Dual Blades. Please go see him as our official messenger.

Do you need time to think about your life as a Dual Blade? Well, I trust that you will return in time...

If we can earn his recognition, a new future will open up for the Dual Blades. Please go see him as our official messenger.
