[Silent Crusade] Mystic Fields Appear

Members of the Silent Crusade, I need your attention. Mystic Gates have appeared throughout Maple World. This is almost as awful as the fact that I've been rejected by Maple World Idol seven years in a row.

The areas under duress at the moment are Henesys, Pantheon, and Leafre. Please, enter a Mystic Gate in any of those regions and come find me at the Mystic Field. I'll be the one with the slick dance moves and perfect hair.

I've also sent you the portable warp portal I threw together this morning. You can use it through your Quest Notifier if you're far from the Mystic Gates. Please, come find me at once.

My name is Doctor Moon. I work with the Silent Crusade, researching Mystic Gates and the monsters within, but nuclear physics is only my day job. My real passion is singing. One day, you'll attend my concerts and scream my name along with the rest of my future fans.

In the meantime, I have to deal with these Mystic Gates. They were created by Arkarium, one of the Black Mage's commanders, to gather Mystic Energy and distort time. He already attempted it once. I've concluded that even he isn't foolish enough to attempt it again.

Which means he has some other foul purpose for these new Mystic Gates. Here's what I know thus far: the Mystic Energy being gathered in Henesys, Pantheon, and Leafre houses powerful boss monsters.

These boss monsters are cloned versions of existing boss monsters. I won't go into the specifics, but because they are clones, they can only exist for 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes is more than enough time to destroy a town...

This is where you come in. The monsters will return soon. Work with others nearby and save the towns. I would help, but I need to practice posing shirtless for when the paparazzi learn about my future fame.

How can anyone besides myself understand the technique behind cloning such powerful monsters? I hope I didn't leave my notes on a bus bench somewhere. Wait, I don't take notes because of my photographic memory. So where did Arkarium learn all of this?
