A Gift Most Mechanical 2

[Nome]... Did anyone follow you? What brings you here?

My sensors detect no movement. I brought you a gift.

You got me a gift? Wow... thank you. Oh, it's a... teddy bear...

Do you like it?

It looks well-made, but this bear suit is just a disguise to help me blend in. I'm more of a rough and tough kinda person.

I-I see...

You know, I bet Elex would like this.

Elex?!

Sure! He may come off as real macho, but he knows a lot about kids' stuff.

W-wow...

Can't judge a book by its cover. Tell ya what. I'll pass this on to Elex for you.

I'll take it over to him today. I know he'll get a kick out of it. I appreciate the gesture, though. It was mighty kind of you.

It seems like a waste for me to keep it. I'll just get it all greasy.

Well, I just went over to talk to Elex, and he tells me you gave him a <Brunch of Champions>?

Yes. He didn't seem to like it.

That's plum lucky for me. I've been wanting to read it. Do you mind?

Not at all.

Better get a box of tissues. I turn into an old leaky faucet when I get into a good book. Oh, and you couldn't believe how excited that teddy bear made old Elex. He was dying to know where I got it.

My friend helped me make it.

Really? Elex insisted that a master had crafted that doll... You got some good friends.

Look, I really have to thank you for the gesture. Elex and I got you a little something.
