Studious Son

Sigh... One son ran away and the other one just stays at home. I have so many worries these days! Thankfully, I heard the one that ran away is okay. I won't go looking for him though, I want him to learn from this experience! Anyway, [Nome], I need a favor.

I need you to collect 20 Blue Mushroom Spores and give them to my son. The one that didn't run away, that is. He's probably still reading books at home. My wife, Mrs. Ming Ming is very worried because his eyesight is just getting worse and worse.

So that's it, then? I do all this work for the town and my son... sons, and this is the thanks I get?

Who's there? I can't see so well. Could you come a little closer?

Your father sent me. Can you see me now?

Ah, yes, I see you. Dad sent you? What did he want?

He asked me to give you these. He's worried about your eyes.

Spores? What, am I supposed to mash these in my eyes? Oh, Dad. I told him not to worry, but you know how dads are. Thanks for your trouble, anyway.

My eyes are just a little tired, that's all. Mom worries too much.
