Starting the quest
Shush! Lower your voice. I can't be seen... What do you want?
Are you a member of the Sand Bandits?
Sand Bandits...? Hm, Sand Bandits... Why are you asking? You don't look one of the queen's guards...
I want to help the Sand Bandits.
Ooh. In that case. I mean, yes. Why, yes, I'm a member of the Sand Bandits. You caught me. So, knowing that, will you help me?
Reply to “Yes”
You know what we do, right? We steal the queen's treasures to, ah, help the poor. That's right. Help the poor. Now, to attack the transport group carrying her treasures, we need a rope. But first, I need material to craft the rope. You with me so far?
Us desert folk make rope out of Cactus Stem by drying and braiding it. Could you get some from Jr. Cactus monsters? 40 will make a nice, long rope for... completely innocent purposes.
Reply to “No”
Hey, if you aren't going to help, why'd you bother me in the first place?
Turning in the quest
Who-who is it?! Ohhh, you're the one that offered to help the Sand Bandits! Ah, hahaha, yes, yes. So did you get the Cactus Stems?
Reply to “Yes”
Ah, yes, this will definitely help us Sand Bandits do good in the world... It's people like you that makes my job so much easier...
Additional replies
Didn't I ask for 40 Cactus Stem items? You need to collect at least that many if you want to help the Sand Bandits... Jr. Cactus monsters should have them.
