I feel a strange aura emitting from you. Do you by any chance have Black Scale with you? Recently, a number of cursed Black Scales have been flashing all over the world, and I can feel the same thing from you. It's a very dangerous item, so would you mind giving it to me?

Oh, so you did bring Black Scale. Good work. It's a dangerous item, so as soon as I feel it, I make sure to contact that individual and have that person bring it to me. Thankfully, most of the people I contacted promptly came and gave them to me, so it's not that difficult... the problem is that the level of curse seems quite powerful.

Did you... take one from Dunamis, by chance?

Dunamis? Are you talking about that Knight Dunamis? Yes, he brought a whole bunch of Black Scale acquired from zombies. He wasn't satisfied with just retrieving those items, but he was rather interested in finding the origin so he could snuff them out. That's why he started asking me about the information on Black Scale.

Can you tell me what you told Dunamis?

It was really nothing special. Black Scale may look small on the outside, but it's really a scale of a dragon. Most dragon scales reflect magic, but since the curse is so deeply ingraned, I told him I suspect these scales are from a special dragon.

Accept

Where are you located? Hmmm... the fact that it feels close makes me suspect that you might be around El Nath. It's not too far from here, so I want you to go to Orbis and hand me Black Scale. Dunamis had that too, and... it seems like Black Scales are easily found in El Nath...

Apparently, that was enough for Dunamis to pack up and leave, and told me he'll be heading over to Leafre and find out more... about the scales. Since Leafre is the land where dragons and Halflingers coexist, there's got to be more information there.

Decline

You should know that as long as you hold on to it, you will be affected by it as well, from a higher percentage of scroll failure and lower drop rate to item decomposition. You may even lose hair as well. Are you sure you want to hold on to it?

Complete

Hmmm...? You didn't bring Black Scale with you? Please gather up the Black Scales that are laden with the power of curse.
