The sky went dark as a shadow fell upon the island. A red eye bored down upon us, and the next thing I knew, Maple Island was in ruins.

That's awful! Why would the Black Mage attack here, of all places?

I don't know, but I do know this: If he had wanted to, the Black Mage could've utterly destroyed Maple Island. The fact that he didn't makes me suspect has he an ulterior agenda...
