[Collector's Request] Alcaster's Teacher

What's that book in your hand there? Oh, Sayram? I never met him, but how could I not know the hero from the war 300 years ago? Time has inexplicably forgotten him, but I can assure you he existed.

Hm? You say the book mentions my teacher?

And this warrior... Could the Warrior back then have been Sayram...?

Let me recount some history. My teacher, Aurelia, defended a stronghold with her allies at the height of the war 300 years ago. It was a do-or-die battle. Despite the prowess of the adventurers there, only only Aurelia and one other survived.

Perhaps the shock of losing all her allies was too much, but Aurelia chose to seclude herself to El Nath. I can only speculate about her reasons, though. She wasn't the type to talk about it.

One night, an injured Warrior rode in on a Griffey to come see Aurelia. I didn't know it at the time, but surely he was Sayram. I was asked to treat his wounds, so I caught parts of their argument.

Sayram said he needed to go, but Aurelia pleaded with him to reconsider. Eventually, she relented and saw him off with his shield and her prized necklace. He never returned.

Sayram went on to save many people through his heroic efforts, before eventually perishing in the war 300 years ago. Unfortunately, I don't know what else they discussed that night or where Sayram went afterward.

If you're looking for Sayram's relic, you may find a clue in my teacher's keepsake. You can find it in the Closed Lab in Orbis that I used long ago.

I'll send you there right away.

(Accept to move to the next quest location.)

This feels like looking for a needle in a haystack...

Huh? A necklace and a journal...
