Elder's Request

This is supposed to be our big secret, but you gave me a bunch of capes, so I trust you now.

So we're floating off into space with bloodthirsty mutant wildlife at the gates. Goodness, I sure am glad you brought me those teeth now.

I suppose you could try solving this problem with violence. My grandson, Michael, is pretty good at that. You should talk to him.

The core is what keeps Chryse floating in the sky. It is a powerful source of magic, strong enough to affect living things. For example, it made you tiny. Or made us big. I can never remember the details.

There is no doubt that the core mutated the animals, making them fierce gladiatorial superstars. And now they keep us from the core, so we cannot control where Chryse goes.

Where did Michael go? Maybe you should ask that boy with the golden, curly hair that looks just like Michael's.

No, wait! Come back. I was starting to enjoy having a tiny person to talk to.

Where could Michael be...?
