Starting the quest
I have a favor to ask of you, if you would.

To be honest, this Killer Spore Potion is not completely my own work. Do you remember Bruce from Henesys? I have been friends with him since childhood, and the formula for the Killer Spore Potion was completed only after Bruce shared the results of his studies with me. This was all thanks to him, so I'd like for you to deliver this to him for me.

I wanted you to share this great piece of news with Bruce, but I understand if you're busy.
Turning in the quest
Oh! You're here on behalf of Scarrs?
Reply to “Yes”
Ahh, so this is the Killer Spore Potion that I was studying way back when! I had a tough time gathering up all the ingredients, so I left my research in a state of mere hypotheticals. I guess Scarrs was able to complete it. And he even had you bring a sample as well. Please tell him thank you.
