Hello, Aran. I know your busy, but I've heard a rumor from the penguins that you might be interested in. Something called Battle Mode has begun in Maple World.

Battle Mode is a gathering of Maple World's strongest warriors, where they challenge each other to learn who's the best. Maybe testing yourself like this will help you regain some of your memories?

More than anything, I want you to show the world you're back. Many have forgotten you, but you are the hero of Maple World. Why don't you join in and show the world who you really are?

They say you earn a rank when you fight in Battle Mode. I hear that Rank 9 is a good goal when you're just starting out. If you had your memory, Rank 1 would be easy for you, but for now...9 is a good first step.

To participate in Battle Mode, they say that you must speak to someone named Maximus on Victoria Island. Aran, please go forth and show the world your true strength.

Of course, fame isn't really the point... But it can't be nice sometimes, right?
