Starting the quest
Interesting. This spellbook makes many references to a pentacle. A rather powerful one.
I haven't seen any pentacles around Kritias, though.
Indeed. I've seen hexes, bedazzlements, and a cross-eyed pixie, but no pentacles... Unless...
Unless?
It can't be. Could it? [Name], would you be a dear and bring me some Tower Fragments from outside of town?
Reply to “Yes”
The Permeating monsters in the Forest of Sorrows have probably picked up fragments from the castle walls. I'll need, say, 10 Tower Fragments to confirm my theory.
Reply to “No”
I'm sure you have plenty of other things to do, but if I'm right, well... You're missing out on a VERY big reveal!
Turning in the quest
It's a shame to see the castle in this state.
Reply to “Yes”
Good, they still have some magical resonance left. Let me get my mystical magnifying glass...
Additional replies
Defeat Permeating monsters in the Forest of Sorrows and bring me 10 Tower Fragments.
